A software snafu in Europe prevented non-HP ink (read: cheaper) cartridges from working with HP printers. Outraging customers who felt the brand was forcing them to purchase only HP ink, we leveraged the casual nature of social media to calm the furor and subtly drive home the idea that HP printers and HP ink produce the absolute best results.
