DOWNLOAD RESUMEI grew up in Gary, Indiana.
Most people hear “Gary” and two things come to mind: violence and Michael Jackson. I think of steel.
For generations, northwest Indiana helped build America. My mom, grandfather, uncles, cousins and many of my friends’ parents worked in the mills. They did hard, dirty work that put food on our tables, paid the bills and made middle-class living possible. I never worked in a mill myself, but I was raised by the people who did.
That’s why I don’t have to imagine the voice of blue-collar America — I grew up with it.
Today, I help companies tell industrial-strength American stories — stories rooted in craftsmanship, grit and innovation. Whether I’m building a brand, developing a campaign, writing long-form content, shaping messaging or leading creative strategy, I’m always looking for the human truth behind the work.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve written for oil & gas, manufacturing, technology, healthcare organizations, insurers, universities, hospitality brands, publishers and more. I’ve partnered with cautious clients, ambitious ones, B2B and B2C brands, startups and established companies. Different industries, same job: understand what matters, find the story, and create work that moves people — and the business.
Along the way, I’ve mentored younger creatives, helped teams navigate tough creative challenges and earned a reputation for bringing both strategic thinking and practical execution to the table. As I continue growing toward senior creative leadership, I’d like to build an environment that’s honest, fair, collaborative and relentlessly focused on great work.
When I’m away from the keyboard, you’ll usually find me on my motorcycle, in the gym, behind a grill or studying for my Master of Divinity at Emory University.
If your brand has a story worth telling, I’d love to help tell it.
